ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this client-facing role, you'll serve as the lead RPA analyst, working effectively across teams in a hybrid environment to meet shared goals. Your ability to assess client pain points and design solutions to replace outdated manual processes will be key to your success. LOCATION

Crystal City, VA (Hybrid, with occasional on-site support required)

WHO YOU ARE



  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Proficient in SAP-based financial systems and modern Microsoft applications used for automation and process improvement
  • Strong understanding of SQL and can write effective code to support data management and automation
  • Able to identify and analyze client pain points and develop solutions to replace outdated manual business processes
  • Skilled in designing and creating visual representations of data through dashboard platforms
  • Solid foundation in financial and accounting practices to support the financial aspects of the role
  • Four (4) years of federal experience, or equivalent qualifications through an advanced degree, professional certifications, or recognized subject matter expertise


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the operation and enhancement of RPA modules, with a focus on the Dormant Account Review - Quarterly (DAR-Q) process
  • Write SQL code to support automation and manage large sets of financial and operational data
  • Design and build dashboards using tools like Qlik or Power BI to clearly present financial metrics and trends
  • Partner with clients to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support automation and streamline processes
  • Use Microsoft platforms such as Power Automate and SharePoint to build and deploy automation solutions
  • Work within complex financial systems to support organizational accountability and reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that address real-world business needs
  • Apply knowledge of compliance standards and policies to ensure automation efforts meet regulatory and audit requirements
