Job Description Supplier Performance Analyst Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN - Denton, TX - Arlington, TX - High Point, NC or Greensboro, NC Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as the Supplier Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing supplier performance against established metrics and providing insights and recommendations for developmental performance improvement plans by supplier. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing the Supplier Operational SOP Issue Log along with conducting supplier outreach and compliance activities tied to EDI requirements and set up. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Calculating and analyzing supplier performance against established metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement plans o Understanding and communicating the technical logic for Supplier Performance KPI's along with contribute to changes that affect the business environment o Managing components of the Supplier Operational SOP Issue Log o Liaising with internal stakeholder departments for annual updates, changes, and requirements o Communicating and managing operational requirements with supplier partners and Supplier Development Managers o Developing, implementing, and coordinating with IT on supplier EDI requirements and strategy o Conducting supplier outreach and compliance activities within EDI requirements o Coordinating and troubleshooting supplier operational issues including EDI, shipment issues, and operational/logistics issues o Centralizing and fostering EDI analytics within Fastenal's network of stakeholder departments o Maintaining, governing, and centralizing/distributing supplier information on operational status and supplier contact information REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Possess or working towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field o Possess 1 year of experience in supply chain management, supplier development, product development, procurement or industry related work experience o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power BI and experience in data visualization o Demonstrate strong attention to detail and time-management skills o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Highly motivated and self-directed o Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers. FULL-TIME BENEFITS: Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. COMPENSATION: The base pay range for this position is $45,000 - 62,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a monthly commission. |
