Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Acara Solutions is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Cincinnati, OH!

Here's what you'll do:

• Maintain control over stock room, by issuing needed material to employees upon proper request, and to monitor quantities to be sure that needed parts do not get too low. Job also involves receiving incoming shipments from vendors and customers supplied inventory.
• Receive and inspect purchased items to purchase order per the purchasing procedure. Pick up and/or deliver documents as directed.
• Receive and issue items from stock.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift equipment and/or crane.
• Pack and prepare items and/or equipment for shipment.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain stock records as directed. Requisition purchased items to maintain minimal stocking levels.
• Maintain stockroom and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Maintain records of left over or returned material.
• Other functions as directed.

Here's what you'll get:

• Full-time, direct hire role
• Pay: $20.70 /hr. based on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 1^st shift

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of computer operating systems and PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, especially Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certified
• Possess accurate data entry skills

Physical Demands:

Stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete floor. Will be required to kneel, squat, stoop, recline, climb, crawl, and/or bend on an as needed basis. Must be able to adjust visual focus. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted, over 70 lbs. with assistance of a lifting device
