Human Resources Generalist

HR Assistant will provide administrative support to other human resources professionals related to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, data entry, company culture events and other key HR areas. Their duties include assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, maintaining accurate employee records and managing internal and external communications for the human resources department. A professional attitude and appearance are required.

Required Skills:



  • Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to act professionally and effectively in complex situations
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve employees' problems
  • Familiarity with database systems and common HR applications
  • Familiarity with resolving / filing Unemployment Claims
  • Familiarity with resolving / filing Workman's Compensation Claims
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations as well as industry-specific regulations
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Always maintain and protect confidentially



Required Tasks:



  • Posting and updating jobs to various hiring platforms
  • Recruiting, hiring, interviewing for essentials positions
  • Entering data into company databases and maintaining personnel files
  • Assist with planning and organizing meetings and special events as needed
  • Tracking of compliance, corrective actions, training renewals
  • Tracking, recording and maintaining records and timecards for Contract Employees
  • Tracking, recording and maintaining attendance records.
  • Other HR tasks as needed.
