Job Description	ECU Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Brody School of Medicine is currently seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to work in a laboratory investigating the unique aspects of periplasmic flagella and gene regulation in spirochetes ( https://microbiology-immunology.ecu.edu/md-motaleb/). Expectations will include: The Research Assistant will prepare reagents, place orders, and ensure regulatory compliance. They will also be involved in laboratory upkeep and administration as required. The assistant is expected to conduct microbiological and molecular biology experiments after receiving appropriate training.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Preference will be given to those who plan to pursue a graduate degree.
