EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE! The Reconciliation Audit Specialist is responsible for auditing final billing documentation from outsourced suppliers to ensure accuracy, budget compliance, and alignment with client billing requirements.

Supporting a key client in the banking and financial services industry, this role independently safeguards the client's interests by ensuring supplier adherence to policies, audit standards, and regulatory guidelines.

60% - Billing and Budget Audits

  • Audit final billing, invoice backup, and budget entries for all meetings and programs.

  • Verify that hotel contract terms and concessions are accurately reflected in hotel bills.

  • Confirm accuracy of final budget summaries, savings capture forms, and system entries.

  • Audit anticipated commission entries in client technology to ensure alignment with final billing.

40% - Supplier Communication and Reporting

  • Communicate billing discrepancies to multiple client logistics suppliers and ensure corrections are made.

  • Track and document all corrections and discrepancies in the client system.

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on audit outcomes and financial impacts.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Previous experience in Billing, Accounts Payable, and/or Accounts Receivable, with a strong understanding of payment and invoice tracking.

  • General knowledge of meeting planning industry practices, particularly vendor accounting procedures.

  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and mathematical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with large, cross-functional teams.

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
