Now Hiring: Senior AV Field Service Engineer - Executive Support Location: I-95 Corridor - NYC to Southern Connecticut (Including Yonkers & New Rochelle)
Type: Full-Time All Mileage & Drive Time Fully Paid Home Most Evenings - Local Travel Only About the Role: We're looking for a polished, professional AV Field Service Engineer-not an installer-with deep experience in Crestron, Biamp, QSC, and Dante systems. This role is all about on-site service, troubleshooting, and commissioning of enterprise AV systems, especially in executive boardrooms and high-profile environments. You'll work directly with C-suite clients, so a confident, composed, and service-oriented demeanor is essential. All local travel is fully reimbursed - including mileage and drive time. You'll be home most evenings. What You'll Do: * Troubleshoot and maintain Crestron DM/NVX, Biamp DSPs, QSC, and Dante audio networks * Commission AV systems: testing, calibration, documentation * Modify programming in Crestron and Biamp systems * Support executive boardroom AV and video conferencing systems * Conduct preventative maintenance and site surveys * Interpret AV schematics and signal flow diagrams * Write clear service reports and mentor junior techs * Deliver white-glove service to executive-level clients Crestron Toolbox Proficiency Required You'll be expected to confidently navigate Crestron Toolbox to: * Connect to control processors via IP or USB * Use File Manager to download and back up existing programs * Modify logic using SIMPL Windows or SIMPL# Pro * Upload and assign updated programs using Program Manager * Restart programs and verify system performance via Text Console What You Bring: * 3+ years of AV field service experience (no installs) * Proven ability to modify and commission Crestron, Biamp, QSC, and Dante systems * Proficiency with Crestron Toolbox * Strong understanding of AV signal flow and system specs * Professional presence and excellent customer service skills * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments Preferred: CTS certification, associate degree or equivalent technical training Top Skills: * Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Dante * AV System Commissioning & Troubleshooting * Executive-Level Client Support * AVoIP & Video Conferencing * Field Service (No Installs) * Professionalism & Communication *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
