DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating statewide Medical Assistance (MA) policies related to MA General Provisions, MA Managed Care, and MA Payment Policy to ensure compatibility and compliance with state and federal Medicaid requirements. This will involve analyzing Pennsylvania Medicaid reforms and related policy initiatives, including the development and submission of the federally approved 1915(b) MA Managed Care waiver and amendments to the waiver. In this position, you will also be responsible for aspects of planning, budget, policy, and program development related to assigned policy areas. You can expect to be the primary lead for updates related to telehealth, the Medical Assistance Transportation Program, the MA Program Fee Schedule, and emerging service provisions. Additionally, you will serve on the Medical Assistance Advisory Committee and Consumer Subcommittee Management and Operations team, as well as serve as a liaison for assigned managed care organizations. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, with a minimum of one to two days per month in the office based on needs of the bureau. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
