Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $78,900-$88,227.23. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: June 12, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, Jul 12, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Aug 12, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Irvine, offers a program that provides international medical physicists with a unique opportunity to fulfill the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Alternate Pathway Structured Mentorship Program requirements for certification while developing research expertise that will position them for successful careers in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Program Overview: The program enables promising international medical physicists to obtain ABR certification while developing the experience, research portfolio, and preliminary data necessary to launch an independent career in the United States successfully. This program addresses the critical need for medical physicist-scientists and provides a structured pathway for qualified international medical physicists to practice in the US.
