Job Summary: Under the direction of the SVP, Retail, responsible for leading and managing the performance and customer experience of the branch network. This role ensures consistent execution of the banks sales, service and operational strategies while fostering a performance driven, customer centric culture. The Regional Manager drives business growth, develops high performing teams, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintains strong community and business relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership, Team Engagement, and Development
- Provide leadership and coaching to Branch Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance.
- Lead Retail sales and service execution by maintaining knowledge of best practices and trends in sales and service techniques and utilizing them to enhance team performance
- Support Leadership development through mentoring, feedback, and performance coaching
- Promote teamwork, communicates regularly, monitors employee engagement and takes steps to maximize productivity and morale.
- Provide consistent recognition across the branch network to inspire and engage branch teams.
- Actively participate in the selection process to fill positions at all levels of the retail organization. Evaluates candidates for branch management roles and makes hiring recommendations to SVP Retail
- Train, develop and coach Branch Managers to optimize service delivery, growth of relationships, and branch operations. Reinforce skills in conjunction with internal and external training initiatives (such as IPG training.)
Sales and Business Development:
- Drive branch performance in deposit growth, loans, cross-sell, and customer acquisition through effective goal setting and consistent follow-up
- Conduct regular branch visits to assess performance, operations, and support colleague development
- Execute retail sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall bank goals
- Collaborate with branch managers to develop and execute business plans tailored to their market needs
- Work with Branch Managers to achieve sales goals for each location, monitor progress toward those goals, and develop strategies to attract and retain customers and drive profitable branch growth
- Monitor individual and branch level performance metrics, recognizing achievements and addressing underperformance with targeted action plans
Customer Experience & Community Engagement
- Champion a strong service to sales culture by ensuring branches deliver consistent, high quality customer experiences
- Promote community involvement and local business development through sponsorships, networking and volunteerism.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalated customer concerns while upholding the Banks values and reputation
Risk and Compliance
- Ensure all branches operate in compliance with internal policies, procedures and external regulatory requirements
- Partner with internal audit, compliance, and retail administration to address findings and maintain operational integrity with all branches
Experience and Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate staff; strong ability to multi-task in a busy environment; solid organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated management experience including selecting, developing and evaluating performance of employees
- Possess excellent oral, written, and presentation skills and a pleasant customer facing attitude to support regular interaction with internal staff, external vendors, and service providers.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential; sense of urgency in responding to customers is critical.
- Knowledge of banking structures, resources, policies and procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of progressive management and leadership experience required
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls & policies
- Excellent sales skills
- Excellent client communication skills
