Summary:
The Senior Tradeshow + Events Specialist will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, conferences, and corporate events for Inpro Corporation. This role is responsible for bringing our brand to life in physical spaces, ensuring every experience reflects Inpro's values and commitment to excellence. This position reports to the Creative Director and works closely with the Marketing Manager, as well as the broader marketing and creative teams. The individual will oversee logistics, manage vendor relationships-including the trade show exhibit house-guide creative execution, and coordinate post-event follow-up to drive engagement, elevate brand awareness, and support business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Plan and execute Inpro's presence at trade shows, conferences, and events-ranging from small tabletop displays to large-scale exhibits-ensuring brand consistency, smooth logistics, and effective audience engagement.
  • Manage all event logistics, including booth shipping, installation/dismantle, vendor coordination, lead retrieval systems, staffing schedules, and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the trade show exhibit house, managing booth assets, coordinating new builds or modifications, and overseeing related timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing + creative team, and outside vendors to develop booth graphics, signage, promotional items, and on-site experiences that align with campaign goals.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and other stakeholders to define event strategy, goals, key messaging, and target audience.
  • Maintain and manage the annual trade show calendar and budget, including cost tracking, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation and messaging across all events, coordinating closely with the marketing, creative, and digital teams.
  • Develop event-specific content, run-of-show schedules, shipping timelines, and team briefings to ensure clarity and execution readiness.
  • Report on event analytics, analyze results, and translate findings into actionable insights to improve future event performance and ROI.
  • Evaluate the performance and ROI of events through post-show reports, metrics, and internal debriefs.
  • Recommend new event opportunities or improvements to enhance reach, engagement, and value.
  • Oversee the care, maintenance, and inventory of event properties, including modular booth systems, product displays, and branded assets.
  • Stay current with industry trends in event marketing, exhibit design, and experiential engagement to continually improve Inpro's event presence.


Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each primary responsibility effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and experience:

Education / Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in trade show or event management, ideally in a B2B or building products industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working with event vendors, trade show exhibit houses, shipping companies, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools, lead capture platforms, or event apps is a plus.
  • Ability to travel (up to 20-30%) and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for events.


Preferred Skills & Knowledge:



  • Knowledge of modular exhibit systems and trade show booth design.
  • Understanding of event planning best practices and industry trends.
  • Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams to develop engaging visuals and experiences.


Authority:



  • Manage event budgets and approve vendor quotes in alignment with Marketing leadership.
  • Manage the relationship with the exhibit house, including design revisions, logistics coordination, and asset maintenance.
  • Select and manage event vendors, booth properties, and contractors.
  • Represent Inpro at industry events, ensuring professional and consistent brand representation.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to influence event strategy and messaging.
