The Digital Experience Design Lead is a key role in our organization, focusing on designing the user journey for different segments of our product. The individual in this role is responsible for facilitating and leading the design process across all phases, including research, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and experimentation. This role includes mentoring designers, establishing design strategies, and fostering the implementation of design thinking principles throughout the organization. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative, user-centric solutions that support both the business and the customer journey.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Lead and facilitate the digital experience design strategy for different product segments to ensure an exceptional and seamless customer journey, taking into account all phases of the design process.
• Actively mentor and guide a team of designers, providing guidance and oversight throughout all phases of the design process, from research to experimentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to deliver on product goals and enhance user experience.
• Facilitate user research, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and experimentation to validate design solutions and continuously improve user satisfaction and business performance.
• Conduct and lead design thinking workshops to encourage innovative thinking, alignment, and problem-solving.
• Manage all phases of the design process to meet project objectives and deliver on time and on budget.
• Advocate for the customer by presenting user-centered design ideas and data-driven solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in a design role with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in facilitating and leading the design process across all phases; from research to prototyping and experimentation.
• A portfolio demonstrating both creative thinking and the delivery of effective user experience solutions.
• Proven experience in design thinking and facilitation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or other relevant design software. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop design teams
• Exceptional visual and interactive design skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and decisions.
• Ability to leverage data, user feedback, and market analysis to drive informed design decisions across all phases of the design process.
• Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to lead design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and foster an innovative and collaborative environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design concepts to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• High level of initiative, passion for user-centered design, and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between design, technology, and business strategy, and the ability to guide the design process accordingly.
