Engineer III, Software - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: Irving, TX) - Design, implement and maintain software to ensure Sirius Connected Vehicle software programs work as intended. Work with group of engineers in Agile organization, innovate to build performant solutions that continue to scale to increasing business demands. Author and provide feedback on technical proposals and root cause analyses. Participate in maintenance and on-call rotation on a limited basis. Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering (Computer or Electrical), plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or a software developer or software engineer position or Bachelor' Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Electrical), plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in the offered position or a software developer or software engineer position. All required experience must have included building mission critical, multi-tier, fault tolerant, high throughput and highly available mobile applications using MVC and/or MVVM design patterns; working with iOS HIG and UI components and best practices for multi-screen apps; using responsive and adaptive native mobile UI development techniques including Objective C, Swift and Combine; using understanding of software development lifecycle including use of source control, CI/CD and various testing methods; and identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks. #LI-DNI.
