Business Analyst

Advanced Mission Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAI has an opening for a highly organized and proactive Business Analyst to join our team at our Linthicum facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, reviewing and analyzing key business metrics. Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring that business needs are communicated effectively to across teams. Propose and implement solutions to enhance business operations, which may include new software, processes, or systems. Monitor business development portals and ensure relevant opportunities are processed. Attend and facilitate meetings, producing briefing materials and meeting minutes. Other duties of this role may include, supporting front desk operations, coordinating company events, and other support activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field plus 3 years of experience in a business analyst role within an IT Service Management setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have solid analytical writing skills, to include solid experience in writing specifications.
• Must be experienced w/MS Tool Suite.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or CMMI frameworks is desirable.
