Where you will work: Arlington, MA

A Day in the Life of the Project Manager I:



  • Assist in the preparation of reports while managing capital budgets as they relate to the projects they manage.
  • Perform purchasing/procurement activities that provide guidance and oversight for the CIE engineers
  • Coordinate team activities as they relate to projects, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget. Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues prior to them impacting project timelines or budgets.
  • Accurately track and report project activities including timelines, budgets, resource needs and roadblocks, providing accurate and timely updates to project stakeholders.
  • Manage site access requirements for technical facilities and 3rd party CoLo's
  • Manage all 3rd party CoLo space/facility additions (e.g., tie cable additions to meet me rooms, etc.)
  • Work with vendors to solicit quotations/proposals, and selection process activities as it relates to owned projects.
  • Work with change management to ensure work activities are documented and coordinated properly to ensure the least amount of customer impact.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What You Bring to the Table:

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent with an Associate's Degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience

Experience: 2-3 years of project management preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Previous project management experience, preferably in the telecom or facilities industries.
  • Computer skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products/Google Docs/Gmail.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
  • Strong critical-thinking, attention to detail and time management skills are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited supervision

Base Salary: The base salary range in Massachusetts for this position is $65,000-75,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations.
