- Instructing in Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology labs, and other course labs as needed under the direction of course faculty members
- Reviewing background material and proper technique for laboratory exercises, including microbiology techniques and dissections.
- Training and supervision of lab helpers and other lab personnel with the organization, set-up, and break-down of all lab materials, including but not limited to microbiology or anatomy labs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Instructing in Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and other course labs as needed under the direction of course faculty members
- Reviewing background material and proper technique for laboratory exercises, including microbiology techniques and dissections
- Training and supervision of lab helpers and other lab personnel with the organization, set-up, and break-down of all lab materials, including but not limited to microbiology or anatomy labs.
- Collaborate with lab manager regarding the requisitioning of supplies for lab instruction
- Assist department chairperson with matters pertaining to laboratory sections
- Other duties as needed (e.g., advising, tutoring, proctoring exams)

Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in biology and previous experience with labs required. MS in biology preferable. Must have ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily tasks, ability to respond to requests from multiple parties, be detail oriented, and possess exceptional organizational skills. Description of Hours: Monday-Friday 7.5 hours a day August-May
