The Attendee Manager/Web Builder serves as a key client liaison, responsible for developing effective and efficient web-based solutions and delivering exceptional attendee management throughout the lifecycle of client events. Supporting a high-profile banking and financial services client, this role includes building registration sites using third-party platforms such as Cvent or Aventri, managing day-to-day attendee communications, and overseeing registration processes and housing room blocks. The position also provides direct support to event attendees, assisting with registration, housing, and other services to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
Primary Responsibilities
50%-Ensures that optimum solutions to business needs have been identified by clearly defining the needs, securing agreement on objectives and priorities, generating alternatives, recommending a course of action, and developing web site in appropriate tool or completing requirements documentation. Make edits or modifications to sites and applications as needed through testing phase. Responsible for hotel/room block management. Communicates with meeting attendees to answer questions. Reports and tracks invitation status of meeting attendees. Provides quality review of reports, including but not limited to rooming list, transportation manifest, group air and hotel. Creates name badges and assist with On-Arrival, where applicable. Uploads required documentation in customer preferred tool. 30%-Maintains master tracking calendar of web projects. Maintains an understanding of web and mobile technologies in order to design and implement web registration and mobile application solutions that meet present needs while integrating with the future vision. Researches and identifies competitive products of competitors to help with new technology. Educates Meeting Event Managers and works with various support organizations. Conducts project debriefs to ensure understanding of improvement opportunities. 20%-Assists Meeting Event Manager with planning and controlling project progress, as well as keeping customers informed of conditions that threaten successful achievement of objectives. Willingness to travel to be trained on new platforms/offerings, client presentations and on delivery of projects, as needed. Qualifications
