We are currently seeking a COBOL Developer with the following qualifications:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing COBOL applications with embedded SQL for interacting with Oracle.
• Write, test, debug, and troubleshoot COBOL code with embedded SQL statements.
• Modify and update existing COBOL programs .
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to COBOL and embedded SQL coding standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for COBOL programs with embedded SQL and database interaction logic.
• Potentially be involved in efforts to modernize or migrate legacy COBOL systems and their database interactions.
• Perform database query optimization and performance tuning within COBOL applications.
• Provide technical support for COBOL applications that utilize embedded SQL.
