POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards plays a critical role in managing and executing Total Rewards programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This leader ensures compensation, benefits, and recognition systems align with the company's strategic objectives. The Senior Manager, Total Rewards will oversee program implementation, develop policies, and provide tactical and operational leadership to ensure the company maintains its position as an employer of choice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Compensation and Benefits



  • Develop and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and market competitiveness analyses.
  • Administer and refine benefit offerings to ensure they meet employee needs and support organizational objectives.
  • Manage the administration of U.S. and international benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements such as ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and GDPR.
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to assess, negotiate, and improve plan offerings.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction through innovative benefits solutions.



Program Management



  • Manage day-to-day operations of Total Rewards programs, ensuring seamless execution and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing programs to identify opportunities for enhancement and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the annual salary review and performance bonus processes, ensuring alignment with AtriCure strategy and budgeting.



Strategic Analysis



  • Analyze market trends and conduct benchmarking studies to ensure Total Rewards programs remain competitive.
  • Provide detailed reports and insights on program effectiveness and suggest improvements based on data-driven analysis.



Collaboration and Stakeholder Management



  • Partner with HR, Finance, and department leaders to align Total Rewards programs with business goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for managers and employees, providing guidance and resolving related inquiries.



Communication and Employee Engagement



  • Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate employees about Total Rewards programs, enhancing their understanding and engagement.
  • Foster positive relationships and trust through transparent and consistent messaging around compensation and benefits.



People Leadership



  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and deliver constructive feedback to support employee growth and engagement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, other business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits, or Total Rewards, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations, including FLSA, ACA, ERISA, and other compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, driving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and compensation survey platforms.



OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
