Housing Manager Experience Required

LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Licensure Required

SUMMARY

The Housing Manager, Behavioral Health reports to the Unit Director and oversees Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit, Crisis Intervention Services, and the hospital Behavioral Health Consult team. This position is responsible and accountable for organizing and directing all aspects of these services and works collaboratively with the Unit Director and hospital departments in supporting operations and patient throughput. The Housing Manager, Behavioral Health is responsible and accountable in implementing the unit's overall strategic plan. As a member of the healthcare team, demonstrates nursing expertise as a clinician, coordinator, educator and innovator of care and services. This position provides over site of the department in the absence of the Unit Director. The Housing Manager, Behavioral Health provides leadership and management in the areas of customer satisfaction, provision of safe and effective care, finance, human resources, communication, patient advocacy, performance, leadership and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Master's degree in Counseling or Behavioral Sciences is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience with the SPMI and/or Additive Disease population, preferably in a full-time status, is required.
  • Active Georgia LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure is required. Candidates transferring from another state must obtain Georgia license prior to start date.
  • Certification as Peer Specialist with Addictive Disease through the Georgia DBHDD/Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network required.
  • Certification with American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Housing experience is required.
