The University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS)seeks applicants to fill a tenure-ineligible instructional position for the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Program during the Fall 2025 term. SCPS helps working adults finish their degrees and advance their careers. The school offers a variety of online and in-person programs including bachelor's degree completion programs, professional certificates, a master's in public safety, and other career accelerators. The course to be taught is "ISBU 3451 Fundamentals of Marketing." This course introduces marketing principles and activities in both profit and non-profit enterprises, from the conception of goods and services to their consumption. Participants study consumer behavior as well as ethical, environmental, and international issues in marketing. Candidates must have a minimum of a master's degree or terminal degree in an appropriate field of study. A terminal degree is strongly preferred.Applicants must be committed to teachingnon-traditional students online in asynchronous and synchronous formats, and preferably professional experience in the field.
