In your role as a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following: Remove all old power rail covers from inside the beam and on the power rail. Install new power rail covers throughout the system. Conduct debris clean-up from the guideway utilizing vacuums, brooms, and shovels. Reviews and understands safety instructions, procedures, nature of technical activity and possible solutions Follows company security and safety instructions or procedures to prevent any personal injuries Maintain a safe fleet that will meet the demands of a reliable commuter service. Performs other duties as assigned or required. What you'll get: Contract: Temporary Duration: 8-12 months Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Shift: 3^rd shift, 10:00pm to 6am Pay: $20.00 p/hr + 10% differential Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Basic mechanical or maintenance experience, understanding of use with general hand tools High School diploma or GED equivalent Proficient in the English Language Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to work 3rd shift Must obtain and maintain certifications in compliance with all state and federal regulations applicable to this position Preferred Skills Ability to pass federal background check, drug test and physical exam. Responsible with attendance Motivated to learn. Additional Information Airport requirement must pass FAA background and security check to obtain SIDA access badge.
