Office Management Supervisor

Department: Community Reintegration Center (CRC)

Full-time, Hybrid

Salary Range: $58,676.80 - $87,984.00/yr

Job Summary

The Office Management Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the CRC's records and clerical operations. This includes supervision of staff handling inmate records, warrants, sentence dispositioning, release processing, and good time calculations. This position ensures accurate recordkeeping and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of customer service and collaboration. The role requires strong administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills to manage shift assignments, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interdepartmental coordination. This position reports directly to CRC leadership and plays a vital role in the facility's operational integrity and public service responsiveness.

Work Schedule:

This position follows a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) on first shift. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. The position is located within a correctional facility and may involve exposure to sensitive information and secure environments.

Job Responsibilities



  • Manage Records Clerical Staff - Create work schedules, grant off time requests, coordinate training protocols, motivate and encourage employees. Monitor work performance including evaluations, mediate staff concerns, and enforcing policies and procedures. Verify sentence calculations, CCAP, and JOC for accuracy.
  • Manage Office Equipment and Supplies - Ensure equipment is in working order, ensure staff has the proper equipment and training to complete tasks. Offer projections to fiscal for future equipment purchases based on technology updates and life expectancy of equipment.
  • Quality Control - Written and verbal direction to staff; evaluate work quality and present expectations and administer corrective actions when necessary. Verify validity of paperwork and court orders. Oversee workflow and data entry of legal documents, filings, warrants, court orders, and TTY notifications. Manage 24/7 calls for urgent issues.
  • TIME System Coordinator - Be CRC point of contact for State and Federal agencies to ensure all TIME system users are in compliance and certifications remain up to date. Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations. Compile and maintain a list of active users and compile a list of computers with access to TIME.
  • Customer Service - Respond promptly and courteously to customer complaints both online and over the phone. Respond to requests from the public related to property issues.
  • Cross Agency Collaboration - Maintain agency compliance with VINE Link. Liaison with DOC, Courts Judges, and CCAP committee.
  • Communication - Establish foundational training and continued training for self and subordinate staff members. Conduct audits, investigate improper releases and communicate discrepancies to all staff as a preventative measure. Conduct monthly information meetings as well as conferences.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 20 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Education, License/Certification and Experiences



  • Current residency within the State of Wisconsin upon application required
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalency required
  • Three (3) years or more of Clerical work experience required
  • Basic TIME Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • Advanced TIME system certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • TIME system coordinator certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • TAC training (TIME system) required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • WILENET DOC locator training required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • Milwaukee County Management Development Program or Leadership Excellence training enrollment or completion within one (1) year of employment required
  • Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams required



Preferred Education, License/Certification and Experiences



  • Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Previous work experience in a Supervisory or Leadership role preferred
