About the Position

At the Edge District Office Park, we believe that well-maintained spaces create exceptional experiences for tenants, visitors, and our team. We're looking for a Facilities Specialist who brings a proactive mindset, hands-on expertise, and a commitment to high standards. In this role, you'll be the go-to for daily facility operations, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot problem solving. You'll help ensure our office park is safe, clean, efficient, and welcoming at all times both behind the scenes and in the spotlight.

What You'll Do

  1. Support facility operations for buildings, grounds, and equipment within the Edge District Office Park. Monitor, operate, and maintain building mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance of all major mechanical systems, including HVAC, elevators, fire suppression systems, electrical infrastructure, and restaurant equipment.
  3. In collaboration with service providers, coordinate landscaping activities, including mowing, weeding, irrigation, snow removal, and water conservation practices to provide a clean, safe, and attractive environment.
  4. Conduct daily inspections of facilities and grounds to identify and address improvements, ensuring all areas are consistently maintained to high standards through routine upkeep, including wall repairs and painting, fixture maintenance, ceiling tile replacement, and grease trap servicing.
  5. Maintain and service all off-road company vehicles to ensure reliability and safety.
  6. Address all facilities-related issues reported by employees or tenants by logging, prioritizing, and resolving requests through the designated ticketing system. Provide regular updates and confirm resolutions with stakeholders.
  7. Coordinate logistics for building security including installation, maintenance, and oversight of physical locks, access control systems, digital surveillance, and fire alarm systems.
  8. Manage parking coordination for all lots within the Edge District Office Park during game days and special events, ensuring orderly and efficient use of space.
Requirements
  • Two years' professional experience in facility maintenance of multiple buildings and grounds care
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC operations including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air quality control, with the ability to analyze system data and optimize performance
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve successful outcomes
  • Skilled in operating standard office equipment and computers, with experience of Microsoft Office software and building operations systems
  • Must be available during regular business hours to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
