Job Description:

Senior Client Engagement Manager Microchip Technology is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to accelerate growth with major Storage, Data Center, and Communications OEMs. The CEM will be responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within a select group of key accounts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities using Microchip's sales processes to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-including Product Divisions, Sales Management, and Business Groups-to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Provide technical and business insights to customers and internal stakeholders, positioning Microchip's solutions to address customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to promote Microchip's products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer business objectives, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Microchip's value proposition.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) preferred.
  • 9+ years of experience managing and growing relationships with major communications, storage, or data center customers; existing relationships with hyperscale customers are a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in enterprise account management and business development.
  • Strong strategic thinking, self-motivated, comfortable managing multiple priorities and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and business management tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $99,000-$220,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
