VP, Branded Merchandise

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to work alongside the client service team to grow and manage the branded merchandise service line. Institute technology and supplier agreements to source product, create presentations, and manage orders.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results



  • Co-own the P&L for the Branded Merchandise service line with the SVP Client Service.
  • Manage and buildout your cross functional teams including Account Directors, Account Managers, Project Managers, etc. helping them to reach revenue, profit and client service goals.
  • Maintain the highest standards of client satisfaction while developing growth opportunities with your portfolio clients.
  • Help develop standardize and customized "ways of working" for the Branded Merchandise service line to enable revenue and profit goals.
  • Work with Client Service team to own the client relationships, as related to Branded Merchandise, ensuring critical insights and opportunities are developed; while ensuring we remain top of mind with key client, cross-functional contacts.
  • Be an active and committed partner to the SGS & Co Shared Service leaders and practitioners.



Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements



  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university, and more than 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep experience in Branded Merchandise sales and operations. (industry veterans only)
  • Experience managing mutli-level, client facing teams.
  • Strong "client-hands" and experience leading account managers.
  • P&L experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel at leading teams, developing talent, and working through others to consistently deliver budgeted annual, quarterly, and monthly financial and operational results.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel as a teammate on a senior leadership team and to senior shared services leaders.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Group benefits currently include a selection of health care plans with prescription drug coverage, dental plan, vision plan, basic and supplemental life insurance, a flexible spending account for medical and dependent care expenses or a health savings account based on plan selection, short/long term disability and 401(k) Savings Plan.
