Description
Summary / Position Purpose: TestEquity is looking for an Order Processing Associate to join our Customer Service Department to support one of our brands, TEquipment. The Order Processing Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently managing customer orders from receipt through fulfillment. This role involves entering and reviewing order data, coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations. They support the customer order workflow and ensure a superior customer experience. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Process incoming customer orders via email, phone, or online systems
- Verify order accuracy, pricing, product availability with our vendors, and customer information
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or changes
- Resolve order discrepancies, returns, or issues efficiently
- Analyze all International orders to make sure they follow all export controls and laws
- Maintain updated records in the order management and all systems
- Collaborate with customer service teams to support a seamless order experience
- Indirectly responsible for product quality
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in either customer service or purchasing/order processing handling order intake with the ability to learn and navigate order tracking tools quickly
- Knowledge of export control and law preferred
- Data entry & accuracy - fast and precise entry of orders and customer details and attention to detail to prevent errors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication and document handling
- Clear written & verbal communication to confirm orders, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues professionally
- Customer service orientated, polite, helpful, and solution-focused when dealing with clients or internal teams
- Handling multiple orders and deadlines without dropping details
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in orders, inventory, or shipping
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, and positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
