Position Summary

IT - Academic Technologies is a dynamic and diverse team that performs a wide range of technical, user support and training tasks in support of UNM's teaching and learning mission. In particular, we administer UNM's online Learning Management System, and support and train its users. We also administer and support related technologies such as web conferencing and multi-media content creation and delivery. The successful student candidate will, under general supervision, perform moderately complex technical duties in support of our mission.

Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Review technical documentation to support Course Feedback, Esurvey, and/or Test Scoring faculty and students.
2. Work through email or phone with faculty, staff and students using our services.
3. Provide reliable and accurate technical support for students, faculty, department chairs and administrators.
4. Learn and work with UNM's Qualtrics, EvaluationKIT, Esurvey Opinio, and/or Scantron applications.
5. Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues from these four services.
6. Supports the administration of campus-wide elections.

Preferred Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM.

Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Minimum Skills include:
1.Excellent written and verbal communications skills
2.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
3.Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
4.Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
5.Able to problem solve within web applications and other information technologies.
6.Flexible and able to adapt to occasional changes in assignments and priorities
