About the Role:

Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Project Manager to lead and oversee all contractor support activities. The SME Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and execution of all contractor support tasks as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery on time and in compliance with performance standards. This position requires daily operational leadership, conflict resolution, risk management, and direct involvement in strategic decision-making processes.

• Manage all phases of project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Supervise day-to-day operations and administrative functions
• Mitigate risks and resolve interpersonal or project conflicts
• Ensure alignment of all activities with contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations
• Provide direct interface with government stakeholders to report progress and adjust execution plans as needed
• Integrate technical and functional support across all DLA Energy systems

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience supporting DLA Energy Applications
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling

Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent recognized program/project management certification from accredited institutions (DAU, PMI, DoD, VA, universities/colleges)
• Alternative qualifications (e.g., relevant experience or training) must demonstrate clear equivalency to a recognized certification

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

• In-depth experience with DLA Energy Procurement Systems (i.e., BSM-E and EPST)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Must have proficiency in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and Access, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project Management.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Other: Must also possess an IT-I security clearance
