Director, Revenue Cycle Automation

Provides leadership, along with efficient and effective oversight of Revenue Cycle Automation strategies, activities and teams, working across the enterprise Revenue Cycle Operations Team to guide and orchestrate complex Automation initiatives that span intelligent and traditional automation technologies. They will work to continuously enhance, modernize, and develop the Revenue Cycle Automation portfolio, in service of Mass General Brigham's strategic goals, while providing oversight and support to leaders and teams performing automation work. In partnership with key operational stakeholders, they will identify opportunities to use automation technology to redesign, inform, and automate processes, support the implementation of organizational Intelligent Automation strategy, and continuously work to improve people, process, and technology across the function.
Essential Functions
*Participates in establishing the strategic direction for the Revenue Cycle Automation function, and collaborates with direct reports and functional leaders to drive alignment.
*Promotes and builds trust in automation across Revenue Cycle Operations, and displays openness to innovative solutions through development of dedicated innovation-focused capabilities.
*Drives deployment of Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, Cognitive Automation, and Artificial Intelligence and cognitive capabilities across Revenue Cycle teams.
*Partners with enterprise Digital Intelligent Automation leaders to assess and integrate new organizational technologies into Revenue Cycle Operations.
*Ensures alignment with enterprise Digital Intelligent Automation standards, practices, and governance.
*Stewards internal and industry benchmarking KPIs for Revenue Cycle Automation and continually strives to maximize measurable performance.
*Serves as a thought partner for Revenue Cycle operational leaders looking to increase the level of automation in their workflows.
*Monitors evolution of core technologies to continually evaluate the most efficient way to achieve automation outcomes.
*Establishes and enforces best practice standards for Revenue Cycle Automation opportunity evaluation, technical solution design, and product development.
*Participates at a national and local level as a SME. Communicates relevant changes in performance, market trends, health care delivery systems, and legislative initiatives impacting execution of team goals to team(s).
*Mentors and supports team resources to successfully deliver projects in a timely fashion, providing teams with a clear picture of the desired end-product.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in relevant operational management and process/technology optimization, 5-7 years required and Experience in leading people, 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates competency and leadership experience in a large, complex organization with multiple locations.
- Strong operational management and process/technology optimization skills.

- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations and technology.
- Excellent personnel management and organizational management skills - including written and oral communication, relationship management, customer service, and organization.
- Results-oriented and committed to ensuring high-quality product delivery.
- Possesses deep understanding of automation design, development, and testing.
- Experience developing motivated, capable, and effective technical teams.

*Remote position with quarterly meetings in Boston.
