Medical Billing Specialist-Full Cycle Rockville MD Pay From: $24 Per hour MUST: The Medical Office Medical Billing Specialist needs to have the following: 3+ solid years of recent medical billing experience for private practice settings -primary care preferred Handling insurance follow up Strong knowledge of claims, reimbursements and collections for Managed Care, Medicaid, Workers Comp, commercial payors Following up on denials Ensure accuracy of CPT and ICD-10 codes Working and resubmitting denied claims Handling appeals A/R experience Reviewing EOB's Experience utilizing ECW A/R Experience taking calls from patients and responding to billing questions Charge entry and payment posting experience DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Billing Specialist role includes but are not limited to the following: Follow up with various insurance payors and work denied claims Take billing calls from patients and respond to inquiries Submit appeals on rejected claims Resubmit claims for payment Handle charge entry and payment posting Ensure accuracy of CPT and ICD-10 codes Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
