Lead Mechanical EQ Engineer

As aLead Mechanical EQ Engineer, you will collaborate with customer and partners to support implementation of Alternate Treatments associated with 10 CFR 50.69. You will review engineering deliverables to ensure they meet quality and technical standards using analytical methodologies to address equipment aging for components under the nuclear industry Environmental Qualification (EQ) Program and the requirements in 10 CFR 50, Appendix A and provide insights into the technical basis for quantifying aging effects, including Arrhenius methodologies for thermal effects, along with radiation, mechanical cycling, and synergistic effects. You will be an SME mentoring less experience engineers assisting w/ their development and the Digital Optimization Solutions (DOS) team will rely on you to work with site technical and project resources during project meetings and deliverable reviews. Finally, DOS will rely on you to develop Accident Function Assessments (AFA) and Alternative Treatments according to 10 CFR 50.69. You will report to the Manager of Procurement EngineeringEngineering & Maintenance Optimizationfor BOP Mechanical & Chemical Process Engineering in a hybrid position at the manager's discretion based at the Rock Hill, SC facility.
