Test Engineer - Senior

Responsible for creating software test and automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues; writing and initiating tests and then analyzing and reporting the test results in the ticketing system; and performing configuration management, change management, and release management. Tests high performance and large-scale immersive visualization systems that discover and exploit social networks.

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.

• Ability to provide overall leadership of the task and serve as primary liaison to the government for supporting contract coordination and task execution.

• TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Agile development environments with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Proficient in installing, configuring, and testing complex Java-based applications.

• Background in test engineering and integration of modern hardware/software systems.

• Skilled in developing and executing test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports.

• Strong ability to write detailed test cases and document discrepancies.

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and SynapseRT.

• Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Dataflow, and mission-specific data formats.

• Proficient in Linux command-line usage and scripting for testing purposes.

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
