Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a DevSecOps Full-Stack Developer to provide cyber software engineering expertise to support Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)'s Technical Warfare Center (TWC) Technology and Innovation Center (ArCTIC). In this role, supports the development of concepts and requirements and then implements capabilities for full-spectrum Cyberspace operations Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA

Tasks include:

    Provide DevSecOps methodologies across the organization to maximize productivity and to promote CI/CD workflows.
  • Remain technologically relevant through learning emerging DevOps technologies and advocating their uses to benefit CI/CD workflows.
  • Participate in all areas of software design and implementation to include strategic planning, development, security, operations, collaboration, and compliance.
  • Automate everything, both your job and others as much as possible, while maintaining configuration artifacts to ensure reproducibility.
  • Automate security patching, static code analysis, remain knowledgeable on common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs).
  • Provide ideas to help ensure security posture on systems, applications, and containers.
    Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and secure software architecture.
  • Understand agile software development life cycle.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with PhD. Will accept 16 years of revelant experience in lieu of education.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and technologies.
  • Familiarity with networking and security to include DNS, load balancing and firewall.
  • Experience with deployment/orchestration tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible.
  • Experience with Build servers (e.g., Jenkins, Travis, Bamboo).
  • Experience with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes, and Database technologies (MYSQL, SQL, or NoSQL).
  • Experience in backend languages (Go, C#, .NET Core, Python, or Node.js).
  • Background in Linux/Unix systems and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or etc.), Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible.
  • Knowledge of cyber security practices and principles.
  • Experience in writing REST APIs.
  • Experience integrating tools to support static/dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability scans into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with versioning, branching, merging and tagging.
  • Understanding of microservices, event-driven, and distributed application architecture.
  • Understanding of common software and web application security vulnerabilities and software vulnerability testing frameworks/methodologies.
  • Requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain Polygraph and MEAD SIP clearance.
  • U.S Citizenship Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAT Level II or III certification.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
