Responsibilities

    Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and training skills. Ability to translate business requirements into effective Jira/Atlassian solutions
  • Strong scripting or automation experience (e.g., Groovy, ScriptRunner, or PowerShell)
  • Demonstrated ability to support ITSM practices such as incident, change, and problem management
  • Experience integrating Jira with identity management, monitoring tools, and external platforms via REST APIs
  • Strong familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira custom workflows, automation rules, service desk queues, SLAs, and request types
  • Experience configuring and administering Jira Service Management in an enterprise setting


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ at a minimum).
  • Must have extensive experience with desk-side IT support and the ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff.
  • Must have experience with creating user accounts for Windows environments.
  • Experience supporting variety of IT technologies (Laptops, desktops, Mobile devices, etc.).
  • Self-motivated and proactive - able to work independently with minimal supervision, identify opportunities and develop new ideas.
  • Able to plan and prioritize team workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time.
  • Experience working in a professional security environment balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing as required.
  • Team Player - Ability to contribute to a much larger team ensuring Mission Critical Facilities issues and customer requests are met in a timely fashion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Service Desk focused experience in Secret and Top Secret environments.
  • Cisco & Microsoft Certifications.
  • Experience running and/or managing projects.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
