Responsibilities

The IT Subject Mater Expert shall provide expert level support for the architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of IT systems, platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

    Provide technical oversight of solutions, conduct code reviews, provide expert guidance on architecture.
  • Proactively provide recommendations to manage technical debt.
  • Recommend and lead innovations and serve in roles such as
  • Enterprise/Systems/Solution Architect in a Scaled Agile environment.
  • Recommend development and DevSecOps practices and ensure adherence to practice through reviews.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, guiding the team through technical challenges and ensuring alignment with sprint goals.
  • Contribute to the refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the team understands and delivers on technical requirements within the agile framework.
  • Responsible for technical guidance, ensuring the quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the contract team.


Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Active TS/SCI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with requirements planning for system architecture, databases, and software lifecycle support.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools, data reporting, and process development.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; including executive level management.
  • Knowledge of change management processes and enterprise licensing agreements.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
