Overview

VTG is looking for a Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO, Los Angeles, CA and Cape Canaveral FL, and Vandenberg CA.


What will you do?

Enterprise Staff Services-Systems Engineering (SE) services provide technical enterprise-level support to. OSL Launch Enterprise. These contractor services include reviewing and assessing OSL facilities lifecycle readiness, process development, review and revision, strategic capability planning, requirements analysis and master planning activities.

Functions and related tasks may include:

  • Provides support to ensure thorough and consistent implementation of NRO and OSL governance and processes.
  • Develop, maintain and implement OSL governance and process documentation
  • Interface with NRO/SED to ensure compliance with corporate policy and procedures
  • Review and assess tactical and strategic planning activities, including O M, upgrades, and new capabilities.
  • Identify Life Cycle Readiness risks, issues, and opportunities. Provide appropriate mitigation actions as required.
  • Review and assess portfolio project schedules milestones, activities, and deliverables.
  • Review and assess schedules in terms of resource allocation, budget, and duration timelines, linked by dependencies and scheduled events.
  • Identifies schedule risks in te1ms of cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Identify, develop, and assess requirements at multiple levels
  • Assess the impact of inserting, removing, and modifying requirements/capabilities anywhere within the enterprise. This includes determining the needs or conditions to meet for a new or evolving requirement, while considering the possibly conflicting requirements of other stakeholders and existing capabilities.
  • Assess existing capabilities to meet validated requirements.
  • Support disciplined process for ensuring validated requirements are documented and verified.
  • Demonstrates strong Conceptual problem-solving skills in solo and team settings, translating customer requirements into visually engaging, innovative solutions and practical information graphics.

Do you have what it takes?

Position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Poly; Years experience can be subsituted as follows:

5 YEARS EXP = ASSOCIATES
10 YEARS EXP = BACHELORS
15 YEARS EXP = MASTERS

Ability to:

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $150,000 - 210,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
