Southfield Service Center - Full time, day shift Scope of Job The Medication Use Clinical Pharmacist Specialist is responsible for providing professional support for medication use and drug information activities across Corewell Health. This hybrid position will be part of the system Medication Use and Medication Safety team. The specialist willsupport system formulary management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities, system policy management, system quality and safety project coordination, system financial stewardship activities, and system educational programs. This will be accomplished through collaboration, coordination and communication with the pharmacy leaders, system quality, safety and clinical leaders, pharmacists, medical staff, information technologists and other healthcare workers. The goals of the system team are to optimize patient care through evidence-based formulary management, aligned system pharmacy policies and protocols, coordinated safety and quality activities, and continual learning.
