Healthcare Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift What this job involves:

At JLL, we are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the 2nd shift at our Wynnewood, PA location. In this role, you will maintain the Maintenance department compliance program while overseeing the facility's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance systems. You'll support the Facility Director and leadership team with work order management in Corrigo CMMS, vendor engagement, quality assurance, and essential reporting. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and as part of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our healthcare facility operates efficiently and safely while adhering to all regulatory standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Compliance Management

  • Oversee department compliance with applicable standards including Joint Commission Environment of Care, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, and Life Safety
  • Implement and schedule preventative maintenance standards and safety controls like lockout/tagout
  • Complete necessary repairs and follow-ups from vendor deficiency reports
  • Maintain current documentation in the Compliance Manager online program
  • Work safely and ensure all department employees follow proper safety protocols

Team Leadership

  • Provide direction and support to maintenance technicians including performance management, coaching, and development
  • Facilitate daily handoffs and regular communication with supervisors and staff
  • Communicate regularly with the Facility Director/Assistant Director and attend scheduled meetings
  • Support each other's wellbeing and champion inclusivity across the maintenance team

System & Project Management

  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure quality work from technicians and vendors
  • Coordinate with other department supervisors to minimize disruption during maintenance activities
  • Maintain inventories and PM schedules for life safety and utility equipment
  • Address deficiencies found during safety rounds or by third-party vendors promptly
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background in facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge of healthcare safety standards (TJC/NFPA/CMS/DOH)
  • 2+ years of facilities management experience, including supervisory experience
  • HVAC system and/or plumbing knowledge
  • Understanding of healthcare environment of care, life safety, and utility management
  • Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, respond to emergencies, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to embracing innovative ways of working that prioritize team success
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or technical/safety certificate
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a healthcare environment
  • CHSP or CHFM certification
  • Understanding of building automation systems (BAS)
  • Familiarity with Corrigo/CMMS, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in collaborative problem-solving across departments
  • Ability to take an inspiring, innovative, and optimistic approach to facility challenges
