Schedule: 16 hours/week; Thursday availability required Earn $16.25/hour Position Details Under the guidance of the EAC Program Director, our peer specialists utilize their own mental health recovery experience to coach residents diagnosed with mental illness on how to develop and practice skills needed to achieve the goals outlined in their recovery/treatment plans. Duties and Responsibilities Teach self-advocacy and advocate for individuals' rights and preferences. Share personal mental health recovery experiences while recognizing each person's unique journey. Participate in treatment team meetings and promote a recovery perspective. Inform team and supervisors of issues, obstacles, and accomplishments in individuals' recovery. Initiate and complete Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) or other Wellness Tools. Contribute to treatment/recovery plans with the team, including development, implementation, evaluation, and revision.
