Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

We Require

  • Six months of office experience, which includes report writing

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications

  • Must complete a thorough background check

  • Experience in Behavioral Health

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Job Contributions

  • Facilitates effective communication among CHS Mental Health Services team members, MCSO staff, CHS central office, and other departments within CHS

  • Coordinates meetings, tours, presentations, and training by scheduling by arranging the resources needed to ensure success

  • Maintains staff schedules, leave time, and attendance; and acts as a liaison with CHS finance department and ADP

  • Assists employees with access to technology in conjunction with the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET), Business Integration and Technology (BIT), and CHS Human Resources

  • Functions as a link between Mental Health Services and community-based providers regarding visitation, medications, court-ordered treatment, and re-entry into the community

  • Compiles reports, manages data flows, and conveys information per standard operating procedures

  • Coordinates with Clinic Office Assistant regarding office supplies, equipment, and other resources required to accomplish departmental objectives

  • Researches issues and provides summaries to appropriate supervisors

  • Complies with the County's policies and procedures related to the safekeeping of Protected Health Information

Working Conditions

  • Works regularly in a standard office environment, requiring the ability to sit and perform duties on a computer for long periods of time

  • At times, may be required to work inside a jail or travel to work locations within a 5-mile radius

  • This position requires accurately handling a high volume of work and adapting to frequent changes, interruptions, and unscheduled tasks

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check and maintain MCSO jail access
