Job Description:
This position may be filled as a Certified Medical Assistant I, II, or III - depending on experience, expertise, and qualifications. Minimum Requirements Certified Medical Assistant I: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred. Experience: 0-3 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role preferred. License/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire. Additionally, one of the following certifications are required upon hire:
- Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Registered Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Personnel
- Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health
- Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National HealthCareer Association
- National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant - National Association for Health Professionals

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role required. License/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire. Additionally, one of the following certifications are required upon hire:
- Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Registered Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Personnel
- Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health
- Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National HealthCareer Association
- National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
