Overview:

The Director of Agile Delivery will oversee the organization's agile practices, ensuring that Agile methodologies are being effectively applied across all delivery teams. This role will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and continuous optimization of our Agile framework and delivery processes. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, product owners, project managers, and development teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality. This role reports to our Chief Security Officer (CSO), within our Transformation team.

What you'll be doing/Scope:

  • Agile Leadership:
    • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) across multiple teams and departments.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and team members on Agile best practices and principles.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within Agile teams.
    • Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile Coaches.
  • Delivery Management:
    • Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring Agile principles and practices are being adhered to.
    • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other departments to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and features.
    • Ensure alignment between project timelines, resource allocation, and team capacity.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Strategic Oversight:
    • Work with senior leadership to define and communicate the strategic vision for Agile delivery across the organization.
    • Develop and implement Agile frameworks that align with company goals and objectives.
    • Evaluate and report on Agile metrics, providing insights into performance, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and removing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization in the delivery process.
    • Establish and enforce best practices for Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, etc.).
    • Champion a mindset of agility and flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.
  • Team Development:
    • Build and nurture high-performing Agile teams by fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and transparency.
    • Provide leadership and coaching to teams to improve collaboration, communication, and overall performance.
    • Ensure teams have the necessary resources and support to succeed in an Agile environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations and delivering large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this position is $152,311.00 to $175,000.00 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
