What is the Opportunity?

Position reports into the US Governance Risk and Controls (GRC) Implementation Office. As a GRC Implementation Office Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with project managers, portfolio leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze data to support project execution of regulatory remediation programs. You'll also be involved in providing support for ad-hoc reporting requests and supporting U.S. GRC reporting initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams within the GRC Office, GRC leadership, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Relations. This role offers a chance to develop your skills in risk management, data management, data analysis, and reporting, while helping the organization drive continuous improvement in GRC project management and regulatory remediation execution.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with GRC project managers to support regulatory remediation programs.

  • Partners with senior leaders in the GRC office who are managing remediation activities to ensure that output from remediation activities has traceability back to root causes and regulatory responses and has proper signoff through appropriate governance channels, as necessary.

  • Assist in the collection, organization and maintenance of regulatory remediation project documentation, ensuring accuracy and readiness for regulatory closure and submission.

  • Assist in maintaining the U.S. GRC SharePoint, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible.

  • Ensure GRC processes and standards are being adhered to and comply.

  • Assist with regular project status reporting by working closely GRC Project Managers and project stakeholder from various functions to gather necessary information. Compile and organize data into required format, and where necessary, assist with creation of new reports.

  • Assist the GRC team with ad hoc tasks and reporting, as required to ensure regulatory remediation execution is successful.

  • Develop and track project execution metrics, as needed, to help support remediation success.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in business, banking compliance, risk, legal, regulatory, or related bank regulatory experience

  • Experience building executive level presentations and communications.

  • Critical attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and improve data accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience being a part of a compliance or risk management team for a large US bank.

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and risk management in the financial services industry.

  • Requirement gatherings, partnering with stakeholders and achieving business success.

  • Advanced in Excel (Pivot, filtering, sums, formulas across multiple worksheets).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Experience with SharePoint for document management.

  • Deep understanding and proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working under their own initiative.

  • A logical & creative approach to problem solving and an ability to identify critical issues with ease.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000-$190,000 (New Jersey/California), $85,000-$150,000 (Minnesota) depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
