In the Product Analyst position, you'll support the Category Manager by conducting in-depth data analysis, monitoring product and category performance, and providing strategic recommendations. You'll focus on competitive intelligence, pricing optimization, product assortment, and customer insights to drive category growth. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to enhance decision-making and efficiency. Skills Needed:

Conduct competitive analysis to assess market trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning. Perform SKU rationalization and provide recommendations to optimize assortment. Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track product and category performance. Analyze customer adoption and defection trends to inform business decisions. Deliver product recommendations based on purchase history, customer preferences, and formulary development. Provide pricing recommendations to enhance profitability and market competitiveness. Collaborate with supply chain teams on product forecasting and inventory management. Support private-label sourcing by defining product specifications and cost targets. Leverage AI-powered analytics and forecasting tools to uncover actionable business insights. Translate complex data into meaningful recommendations for key stakeholders.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. 2-5+ years of experience in category management, data analysis, pricing strategy, or retail analytics. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or similar analytical tools. Experience with AI-driven analytics and forecasting is a plus.
Additional Items of Interest:
Preferred experience in supply chain collaboration and private label sourcing. Certifications in analytics, or category management are a plus.
