Senior Engineer

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Performs an assortment of complex engineering duties with knowledge of latest energy systems solutions, such as shipboard energy storage and integration engineering, battery abusive Test and Evaluation (T&E), printed circuit card design, aircraft energy storage system engineering and T&E, and missile battery testing for various platforms in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
• Experience in researching and developing of next generation of energy solutions for systems such as missiles, shipboard, and aircraft.
• knowledge of developing prototypes for leading edge energy storage and integration solutions. Perform product testing and create models and prototypes.
• Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of battery and energy storage facilities.

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related work experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
