CTL Student Learning Assistance is a program available to UNM students enrolled in undergraduate classes. Our mission is to enrich the academic climate at UNM and create lifelong learners. Language tutors provide support to students studying languages at UNM. Language tutors are either native speakers or advanced language learners and can help students understand language material, improve their written and oral skills in a language, and overcome any problems in language learning. As a member of the CTL team, student staff attend biweekly trainings focused on language content and tutoring practices, which are designed to make student staff effective facilitators of student learning.
