Pay information



  • Pay Level: 015
  • FLSA Category: Non-exempt - Hourly
  • Individual pay will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, internal equity, and other relevant factors.

A day in the life

The Enrollment Associate is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation and processing of standard enrollment applications and requests. This position uses general knowledge of organizational underwriting rules and government regulations to determine member eligibility.

Your responsibilities will include



  • Reviews applications and change requests for completeness and collaborates with various departments as needed to ensure all required information is received and is accurate prior to processing.
  • Utilizes various computer systems and applications to perform daily functions.
  • Ensures applications and requests comply with underwriting polices, as well as local, state and/or federal regulations to determine final acceptance or denial of coverage or member data modifications.
  • Accurately keys new member data or makes changes to existing member data following established department and system procedures, ensuring enrollment accuracy in accordance with organizational and national measures.
  • Ensures enrollment accuracy in accordance with organizational measures and policies.
  • Participates in the review and documentation of department policies and procedures.
  • Shares knowledge with new and existing staff through job shadowing and knowledge sharing.
  • Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.



What you need to succeed



  • A High School Education or GED is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted.
  • 1 year of data processing, data management, using data systems, enrollment, or related experience is required.
  • Be a problem solver with the ability to research, analyze and define methods, practices, and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Clearly communicate and support employees in a variety of situations, while also being flexible and adaptable.
  • Brings a creative mindset and a go-get-em' attitude to find ways to improve upon processes and projects.
  • A strong ability to prioritize and organize work with varying timelines for projects and daily work.



Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
