BlueHalo is looking for a motivated and experienced Deputy Site Lead to support the 32d Army Air Missile Defense Command at Fort Bliss, Texas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operations within the Operations Center (OPCEN), supporting real-time military operations across the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). As Deputy Site Lead, you'll work closely with the Site Lead to manage a team, maintain 24/7 operations, and communicate with military and coalition forces to ensure situational awareness and operational success. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Lead in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the 24/7 functionality of the Operations Center.
Lead a team of 11 full-time staff, making sure tasks are assigned efficiently, and operations run smoothly.
Ensure that all project milestones are met, resources are allocated properly, and operations stay on track.
Maintain clear communication with senior leaders by providing timely updates and operational briefings.
Coordinate with military, coalition forces, and other key stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently.
Support the Site Lead in building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer, anticipating their needs, and delivering high-quality results.
Help manage budget planning, cost control, and reporting to ensure resources are used effectively.
Troubleshoot and ensure maintenance activities are carried out per established procedures.
Keep accurate documentation and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
12-16 years of experience in military operations or direct support to military/government customers.
Minimum of 12 months of Air and Missile Defense experience at a battalion-level or higher.
Proven experience in managing teams, coordinating complex projects, and working in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and the ability to create deliverables in various formats.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working within a Combatant Command or large defense organization.
Familiarity with operational command systems (e.g., NIPR, SIPR, AMHS, Mission Command systems).
Knowledge of defense industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with military and coalition forces.
Master's degree or advanced certifications in a relevant field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Experience with budget management, cost control, and reporting in a military or government contracting environment.
