Job Summary

As an SOC (Security Operations Center) Operations Analyst; reporting to the SOC Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Inter-Con's distinguished Officers in the field by playing a critical role in assessing threats and monitoring our security operations in real-time. You will join a dynamic and growing team that is responsible for responding to security incidents, gathering intelligence, and developing reports for upper management. Primary Responsibilities

* Supports the Operations Managers in ensuring execution of security procedures, responses at all posts.

* Ensures effective response to emergency and non-emergency situations, timely completion of reports and other requirements as directed by the SOC Manager.

* Employ the use of various systems software, security and communications equipment.

* Notifies and communicates with the Operations Managers and other senior personnel as required to ensure a common operating picture of the area of operations.

* Monitor security applications and triage alerts, escalating where appropriate.

* Investigate and resolve incidents to contain and remove security threats as safely and quickly as possible.

* Create and continue to develop cases using threat intelligence information and lessons learned as a result of any incidents and alerts.

* Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to assist SOC Manager to drive operations.

Qualifications

* Preferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, an AA degree, or 1 year of experience in a center/security dispatch environment. Understanding of security operations & FEMA ICS/Watch officer training a plus.

* Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.

* Demonstrated interest in Security and law enforcement work preferred.

* Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.

* Technologically savvy - experienced with MS Office Suite.

* Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Customer Service orientation a plus.

* Comfortable in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with Senior Management.

* Must be flexible and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a high tempo environment.

* A dependable Team player with maturity, that participates in problem solving with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

* Can independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products that may be needed (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)
